Army allegedly ransack Shopian village, beat people | KNO

Army personnel on Wednesday ransacked many residential houses and beat inmates after a mild stone pelting incident in a Shopian village, locals alleged.

They said that few children pelted some stones on a patrol party in Narpora village of shopian in south Kashmir. Soon after the incident army troopers entered the village from all sides and started smashing whatever came in their way. Locals alleged the army men ransacked houses and beat inmates. The situation according to locals was very tense in the village when this report was being filed.
